Nominator's project description
| Professor Ballesteros Paredes from the Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics in Morelia, Mexico, is well known for his theoretical investigations of stellar birth and the dynamics of the multi-phase interstellar medium. He has made key contributions to our understanding of the competition between turbulence and gravity in star-forming regions in our Milky Way. During his stay at Heidelberg University he will continue his successful work on dynamic star formation models. |
